Saturday, April 29 Well it's Saturday morning little cloudy over cast with a high chance of raining today. Yesterday was our preparation day I took David and Stephanie and their two boys they came out and watch the bring in  of the horses. Then went to breakfast with the rest of them help them pack the car to head on to Indiana. Your mother and I roll down to Kantril Iowa to purchase a couple hats one for the rendezvous at one for every day use. Got back about 430-5 o'clock. And we decided we weren't going out again so that's pretty much the day. Today Will be the first day that we will actually go work one of the sites here in Nauvoo. Your mothers going to the Brigham Young home, and I am headed for the blacksmith/Wainwright shop. Going to be an interesting day I don't think it will be very busy because of the rain though. Well I hope everybody has a great day today stay dry if you can if you can I'm going to try at least Be safe whatever you...

Friday, April 28 Good afternoon family I better take this chance and tell you what we did yesterday. We did our final training on sites, then we went out and auditioned. And needless to say that wasn't pretty but it's over with and done and a new day tomorrow. I'll I hope everybody's  will be safe today. And enjoy what's left of your day. Hank was not too bright. Everyday when he walked home from work, he would get stopped by three nasty men and they would beat him up and steal his money. Finally, Hank decided that it would serve his best interest to walk a different route and then take up some self-defense classes so this wouldn't happen again. He joined a karate class and soon was doing very well to defend himself. So, one day, on the way home from work Hank took his old route home and sure enough there they were. He walked up to them and the battle ensued. The next afternoon Hank went to his karate class with a black eye, a broken nose and ...

Saturday, April 15 Well it's Saturday morning and we're making preparations to go about her active the day it's our  p-day today. So we've got some activities planned and some that we didn't have planned.  It was another wonderful day yesterday again had some very emotional spiritual moments, one as we prepared to teach a lesson video that we looked at on Thursday popped open on my iPad to prepare a lesson this video was sitting right on the screen and it fit with what this gentleman needed. It made  teaching the lesson a whole lot easier. Also last night as we preparing to close for the night one of the missionary couples called and asked me to come over and give me a blessing. And as we finished up and went  back to our room to get my wallet  we meet the Olsen at the elevator and he had change his mind he no longer needed to go to the hospital the pains he was having a dissipated we still went out and bought him a heating pad because your mother said it would ...

What you look like after five days in the MTC Friday April 14 Well good morning family it was another great day yesterday with the follow up teaching with the couple that we talk the day before and it went as well as the day before it was. We are so broke out of the MTC last night put on regular clothes and drove over to see Neta and Robert And it was good to see them and see the excitement they have for our mission. So all in all it was a very good day yesterday So here's a couple of jokes I have lost my mind! And I'm pretty sure my kids took it! My husband, a big-time sports fan, was watching a football game with our grandchildren. He had just turned 75 and was feeling a little wistful. “You know,” he said to our grandson, “it’s not easy getting old. I guess I’m in the fourth quarter now.” “Don’t worry, Grandpa,” Our grandson said cheerily. “Maybe you’ll go into overtime.” The minister was preoccupied with thoughts of how, after the worship service,...

Thursday, April 13 Well it's a beautiful morning And I hope every will have a great day Yesterday was a really great learning day for me. We had a teaching experience and a nearly perfect stranger made an observation about me, and he recommended that I take it to heart it's things your mother has told me all the time but coming from somebody that has seen me just a few times maybe I better step up to the  to the plate more often and share my abilities and talents. Also had a chance to assist with the elder here giving a blessing to his wife who is having troubles with a headache, so not only did I have a lot of learning experiences but I had some wonderful spiritual experiences So I hope everybody else will learn something new and try something new and grow from it like I'm growing day by day here in the Mission training center Again I hope everybody has a wonderful day “Don’t wait for things to get easier, simpler, better. Life will always be complicated. Learn to be happy...

Well good morning family it's Wednesday morning then we're halfway through the week, I guess you're halfway through the week too ๐Ÿ˜. The MTC is quite an experience trying to pound teach my gospel trying to pound ๐Ÿ‘Š into this thick skull of mine. I've met some really wonderful people here. Last night we had the MTC devotional Elder Valeri V. Cordรณn spoke he talked of course about mission work But the funniest thing he did he ask how many missionaries were learning a second language and there was a few and then he said him and his wife was learning a second language also English. He is from  Guatemala ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡น Well not much is happening so I'll just wish everybody a very happy day “Today is a most unusual day, because we have never lived it before; we will never live it again; it is the only day we have.” ~ William Arthur Ward “Patience is not simply the ability to wait,  it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.” ~ Joyce Meyer

Well good morning family.  It's a Tuesday morning and day two in the Mission home. It was a hectic day yesterday to get things started off. Making sure we got the MTC on time felt like we were almost be herded like a bunch of cows But once we got everything settled and found everything that we have lost, or should say things we couldn't find things settle be in for a wonderful day. Can't believe how small the church years when we got talking to some of the other missionary couples finding out that we knew some of the same people, it was just kind of fun. Well I don't know what the day will bring but I'm looking forward to just resting day, and I hope everybody else has a great one today too I also want to thank all of you that helped make this possible and to have such a wonderful little sendoff crew here at the MTC thanks Rachel and Stephanie for making the send off a little more pleasant Faith in Jesus Christ, when solidly anchored in our souls, brings true con...

Mission training center Monday, April 10 Well good morning family it's a really bright Monday morning only because what is taking place today. I can't believe all the things that have happened that caused us to come up here on Sunday instead of Saturday and getting and getting the start we did Sunday morning. Saturday started out fairly smooth we got up packed all of her personal clothes and made it to Kyler's soccer game picked up our trusts and everything and set out to get everything else loaded and be on the road by three or four. One thing led to another and we finally got the trailer loaded about 6 o'clock. Then we had thoughts that maybe we shouldn't be going until Sunday morning. We found a few more items that we needed to put in the bedroom, but come to find out we had locked the keys up in the safe and nobody had a set of keys to unlock The bedroom door where the safe was at.   I thought I had given A set to David and Andrea but they didn't have a o...
