Mission training center

Monday, April 10

Well good morning family it's a really bright Monday morning only because what is taking place today.

I can't believe all the things that have happened that caused us to come up here on Sunday instead of Saturday and getting and getting the start we did Sunday morning.

Saturday started out fairly smooth we got up packed all of her personal clothes and made it to Kyler's soccer game picked up our trusts and everything and set out to get everything else loaded and be on the road by three or four.
One thing led to another and we finally got the trailer loaded about 6 o'clock. Then we had thoughts that maybe we shouldn't be going until Sunday morning.

We found a few more items that we needed to put in the bedroom, but come to find out we had locked the keys up in the safe and nobody had a set of keys to unlock The bedroom door where the safe was at.   I thought I had given A set to David and Andrea but they didn't have a one  We call lock man he came in and drill the lock out and David and I put in a whole new locks set. Still humming and hawing whether we should go finally decided that we'd spend the night at David's it was a good thing because a bad storm hit the Fillmore area about 9 o'clock Saturday night and most likely we would've been right in the middle of it. Sunday morning was pretty uneventful a nice calm drive up until we hit that area coming off the hill going into Fillmore area (this is the area where we used to drop Stephanie and Rachel to meet grandma and grandpa)there has been three accidents involving it look like 10 or 12 cars the previous hours or so we barely missed it. As we talked about it we knew that somebody was really looking after us and that brings us to this morning we enter the MTC

And we start our mission like I said in my talk.  Pull your boot on Pull your hat on and hold on tight we're in for a great adventure.

And I want to thank each one of you kids that is helped us get to this point and looking forward to sharing this great adventure with you as the next 18 months goes by

Quote of the day
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. ~ Mark Twain

Whoso would hearken unto the word of God, and would hold fast unto it, they would never perish; neither could the temptations and the fiery darts of the adversary overpower them unto blindness, to lead them away to destruction."
